Sea-kayaking around South Lofoten (North Norway)

Monday 1st September 2008: 8th day of the trip. Campsite on mountaincol (15), paddling back to A.

Harry didn't like this place, no fish here!

In the morning it was raining, but after some hours the sun was shining. I stayed some hours more on this mountaincol to enjoy the views and the sun.
I walked down from the mountaincol to the sea-kayak and paddled back to the village A and to my car, .......the end of this exiting trip..........or going out for another special day??

In wintertime it should be difficult to get here, but the view is great.

Harry in front of the sea-kayak, ready to go..

I visited the supermarked and looked for the weatherforecast. Two more days of nice weather, for Tuesday and Wednesday much sun. From Thursday bad weather should arrive in Lofoten.
I wanted to go to the island Vaeroy, 25 km South of Lofoten.
The first boat from Moskenes (Lofoten) to Vaeroy depart at Wednesday morning, 3.30 a.m. At Vaeroy I could take the boat to Bodo (North Norway) on Wednesday evening. This was a good schedule for me.
Tomorrow I take a resting day (but not for "Harry the Polarbear") and take that very early boat to Vaeroy on Wednesday.
