March 29th 2009: The lucky thing for me is that on December 31th 2009 it will be fullmoon. So if there are no clouds
I will have a lot of light!!! Even if it is cloudy, it still will be lighter then normal.
Let's hope that there will not be fog then. I probable will start my trip in the last week of December
2009 to have full profit of the moonlight.
April 14th 2009: I already have a lot of equipment in Longyearbyen (Spitsbergen) from previous expeditions.
For this very long trip a need some more equipment. In July/August 2009 big pallets will be send by boat
to Longyearbyen.
April 27th 2009: In August 2009 I'm going to the place where I will have my basecamp and look for the best place.
When I arrive in the end of December 2009 or January 2010, I probable won't see that much.
And in August I can also see were the wet and the dry area's are on the glacier.
This is very important for a campsite on the glacier
June 11th 2009: I decided to take my sea-kayak to Spitsbergen. This will open new possibilities for making special trips.
